A mountain range with striking chalk cliffs, in the north west of the Montafon.
The Alpine valley Montafon is surrounded by three mountain ranges: To the north west are the striking chalk cliffs of the Rätikon, to the south you meet the crystalline central Alpine stone of the sometimes glaciated Silvretta and to the north east the Verwall.
A guided ski tour is a very special experience, with a state examined mountain and ski teacher, who knows the local snow, weather and avalanche conditions, and makes your tour day unforgettable.
A paradise for tourers!
The Verwall is a mountain excellently suited to the average mountain hiker and mountain climber. In contrast to the neighbouring Silvretta, the Verwall group is only slightly glaciated. Several summits protrude above the three thousand metre mark. Many of the summits have striking shapes. Above all the part located in Vorarlberg, with its nature reserves, stands out due to its wide originality and uniqueness.
Meet the crystalline central Alpine stone of the sometimes glaciated Silvretta.
The Silvretta is a mountain group in the central Alps of the east Alps, and has many three thousand metre mountains, with a multitude of small and large glaciers. At the summit of the three country peak, the regions of Tyrol, Vorarlberg and Grisons meet.
